Cut Through The Noise
In our each of our speaking engagements and skill training seminar, we suggest that the biggest obstacle facing any situation is noise. How to identify noise and dismiss the noise is the skill that we train.
It's amazing how many different types of noise there are. If you take some time to think about noise, you'll probably come up with a list of a dozen or two, but at one seminar we conducted we had a list of over 50! The list included everything from cell phones and email, to age differences and educational differences. It included illness, priorities, and financial noise...and so much more.
The noise that had the biggest impact in our group...was silence. We have ways to overcome silence, effectively and efficiently....and it's not about talking, it's about listening.
